College Football's Hottest Fanbases - A List Of 40

Mike McD wrote an article for Bleacher Report entailing his own list of the hottest football fanbases in college football. The reason I include this list here on RI is a) it includes Virginia Tech and b) it does not include the Dookies or the Wahoos.

Boston College unveils "Beat Cancer" t-shirt

I am no Boston College fan, that's for sure. They have become a regular rival to the Hokies though, and I wanted to bring this to everyone's attention.

As many are already aware, Boston College's star linebacker, Mark Herzlich, was diagnosed with cancer and underwent treatment earlier this year. Recovery seems to be going well.

The shirt to the right depicts BC's mascot with similar face paint features known to Herzlich's style. Shirts are available for purchase here. BC will donate $5 from the sale of every Beat Cancer T-shirt to the American Cancer Society in support of Ewing's sarcoma research.

Boston College is planning on having people wear the shirts for their October 3 game against Florida State.

Facebook and Twitter get Lane Kifffin in trouble again

Well, the famous social networking sites have now really busted Kiffin's balls. Already in hot water for some of the decisions and moves he's made Tennessee has been forced to admit to another recruiting violation. CBSSporstsline.com reports that both of the sites had "I was so excited to hear that J.C. Copeland committed to play for the Vols today!" posted on the profile. While everyone is quick to point the finger and call Kiffin a moron some speculate he did this for the publicity. While these secondary violations are rarely penalized he could once again throw UT back into the headlines as the season approaches. My question is. why does he have these accounts? What good could possibly come from them? This makes me think he is just doing this for the publicity, if so he's a real McAsshole.
