Hokies trying to do their part

RI has reported a few stories about BC Linebacker and battler of cancer, Mark Herzlich. Well VT is doing all they can this weekend against Miami to help out the ACC rival. Prior to the game Frank Beamer will send guys out from his scout team to sell "Team United" bracelets to anyone that wants one for 1$. The proceeds of course will go to Mr. Herzlich. The school has come out and stated a goal of 5,094 dollars, of course the 94 being for Mark's jersey number.

Since the majority of our readers our Hokies, I wanted to post this to hopefully make more people aware and encourage the purchase of these bracelets. I know I'll be buying a couple. This really is a great thing for a big time rival to do for someone who needs the help and the pick me up. It's times like these when you sit back and think that football really is just a sport and there are plenty of things more important out there... like breathing.
