I am no Boston College fan, that's for sure. They have become a regular rival to the Hokies though, and I wanted to bring this to everyone's attention.As many are already aware, Boston College's star linebacker, Mark Herzlich, was diagnosed with cancer and underwent treatment earlier this year. Recovery seems to be going well.
The shirt to the right depicts BC's mascot with similar face paint features known to Herzlich's style. Shirts are available for purchase here. BC will donate $5 from the sale of every Beat Cancer T-shirt to the American Cancer Society in support of Ewing's sarcoma research.
Boston College is planning on having people wear the shirts for their October 3 game against Florida State.
